Dr. Virginia LoweBIO: Dr Virginia Lowe has been proprietor of the Create a Kids’ Book manuscript assessment service, for fifteen years, including workshops in most Australian capital cities. There are also writing e-courses. Many books have been successfully published coming through the service, and can be seen on the webpage www.createakidsbook.com under ‘Successes’. She has been judge for the Australian Book of the Year Awards, and has written a book on young children’s responses to books: Stories, Pictures and Reality: Two Children Tell (Routledge) also numerous articles on the subject. She formerly lectured at different universities on English, children’s literature and creative writing.
