BIO: Sam Jordison is an author and journalist, and a co-director of Galley Beggar Press. His first book Crap Towns was a best seller in 2003 and accidentally kicked off a publishing phenomenon known as the “shitegeist”. Crap Towns Returns: Back by Unpopular demand is the tenth anniversary edition. It names and shames Britain’s worst towns – and also (partly to please Sam’s Mum) highlights a few that have improved over the years.
