ITEM: A VIP pass to the Huddersfield Literature Festival in March 2014

HLF Logo 2014

DETAIL: A free pass that allows you VIP entry into all festival events taking place in March 2014. Free entry, no queuing and an invitation to our VIP sponsors’ reception.

The Festival runs from 6-16 March and includes events with Joanne Harris, Kate Adie, Lemn Sissay, An Evening with Sunny Ormonde (The Archers’ Lilian Bellamy), as well as storytelling events, poetry open mic nights, workshops and our fabulous Manga Convention. The festival will host the first ever Polari Up North literary salon with Paul Burston, Mari Hannah, VG Lee, Keith Jarret and more. We are still confirming events so there will be lots more that the VIP ticket will give you access to over the 10 days of the festival (see http://www.litfest.org.uk for updates).

Please note, the winner will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation and the pass is non transferable (it can only be used by the person who wins – or one person they nominate).

Ooh. Kicking off the bidding for this with a slightly optimistic £40! I’m miles away from Huddersfield, this would be a huge adventure!

  2. Would love to bid for this but it overlaps with the Emirates Lit Fest. Mind you, Joanne Harris will be at both …

  3. She will indeed – we have booked her for the second weekend as she is at the Emirates Lit Fest the first. There will be at least one event every day between 6 & 16 March, apart from the Mon & Tues. Anyone travelling from further afield, we have some very reasonable accommodation around here and it’s a lovely area to visit.

  4. I would like to bid £50 for the VIP pass as I have never been to a Literature Festival before and would like to meet Joanne Harris.

    This is a great idea.

    £80 from me.
