BIO: Lydia Syson’s debut novel for teenagers, A World Between Us, was a Guardian Teen Bookclub choice, Highly Commended for the Branford Boase Award, shortlisted for the We Read Award, longlisted for The Guardian Children’s Fiction Prize, and has recently been longlisted for the UKLA Award (2014) and nominated for Carnegie Medal.  Her second novel for Hot Key Books, That Burning Summer, came out last month.  Read reviews of this and Doctor of Love: Dr James Graham and His Celestial Bed (Alma Books, 2008) – a biography of Britain’s first sex therapist – here, on Lydia’s website. Lydia is a former BBC World Service radio producer and her narrative non-fiction interests are wide-ranging.  She wrote a PhD about Timbuktu in the nineteenth-century European cultural imagination and has recently collaborated closely with the jeweller Alex Monroe on his memoir of making things, Two Turtle Doves, which Bloomsbury will publish in 2014.  She is represented by Catherine Clarke at Felicity Bryan Associates.

I don’t need a critique but would love signed copies of your two books, if that’s possible. £40?

  2. This package looks fantastic. Thank you for donating. I bid £50

  3. I’ll happily donate the extra signed copies, so this can be two lots.
